The professors Raúl Reina and Alba Roldán, from the Motor Control and Learning Lab of the Sport Research Center will coordinate the European Congress in Adapted Physical Activity (EUCAPA). It will be host by the Miguel Hernández University, from the 21st to the on 23rd of October in 2020. This congress will be sponsored by the ASISA Foundation, and its main theme will be the Physical Activity for Health in people with disabilities and chronic pathology. It is one of the most important congresses on the subject, celebrating a proposal of the European Federation on Adapted Physical Activity (EUFAPA).

On this occasion, each day of the congress will deal with a specific topic, namely: 1) health and rehabilitation through adapted physical activity, 2) inclusion in the different contexts of physical activity and adapted sport, and 3) physical activity and adapted sports. Prestigious international speakers will participate in debate sessions, , as well as the possibility of presenting oral communications.. EUCAPA 2020, incorporates, as a new feature, the award  1500€ for the best free work presented, which will be published in an Open Access Journal.
