Moreno Hernández, Francisco Javier, MS.c, Ph.D.
Between 1993 and 1997, after obtaining his Sports Science Degree, Francisco Moreno had several pre-doctoral fellowships at the University of Almeria and Granada. Afterwards, he began teaching at the University of Almeria and Extremadura, which he combined with the development of his doctoral thesis, obtaining a Special doctorate award by the Granada University, and the first research prize by the Andalusian Institute of Sports.
Since then, he has developed the following research topics:
- Analysis of the learning process and control of human movement.
- Development of analysis systems of motor behaviour.
- Analysis of the process of human motor variability related to performance and learning.
These research topics have reached a total of 64 scientific international publications. They are the result of teamwork, participating in 15 research projects, being the Principal Investigator of 7 of them, which were financed in competitive calls. This research work has been reconciled with 24 years of teaching at the Universities of Almería, Extremadura and Miguel Hernández of Elche. Currently, his research and professional interests are related to Motor Control, Motor Learning, and Sport Technique Training.
