Hernández Davó, José Luis, MS.c, Ph.D.

Jose Luis Hernández holds a Sport Science Degree from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH). He also studied a Master’s degree in Sports Performance and Health and obtained his PhD in Sport Science at the same university.

Currently, he works as an Associate Professor and his two main teaching subjects are Tennis and New Technologies and Trends in Physical Conditioning in the Physical Activity and Sport Science Degree. He also collaborates in research as a technician in the Motor Control and Learning research group.

His main research topics are: i) the study of the functional role of motor variability in order to improve motor control and learning process and ii) the analysis of how the manipulation of different strength training variables (variability, uncertainty, etc.) affects the neuromuscular adaptation and the improvement of sport performance.
