Barbado Murillo, David, MS.c, Ph.D.

David has a Sport Science degree from the University of Extremadura and he holds a PhD in Sport Science from the Miguel Hernandez University of Elche (UMH). During his PhD program, he did a pre-doctoral stay in Halifax, Canada.

Nowadays, he works as an Assistant Professor and as a research staff member in the Sport Research Center (CID) for two research groups: the Motor Control and Learning (APCOM) and the Biomechanics for Health and Sports Performance (BIOMEC) at the UMH. He is also an undergraduate lecturer in Physical Activity and Sport Science and as well as a postgraduate lecturer in Sports Performance and Health at the same university.

His main research interest is to study the functional role of motor variability in order to improve motor control and learning process, the improvement of trunk stability and training programs for people with multiple sclerosis.
